Core Extensions

A “Full Installation“ of Contao includes the following extensions, which are supported and maintained by the core development team.

• News/Blog extension

  This allows news entries to be managed in the back end and output to the front end using front-end modules.

• Calendar extension

  This allows future and past events to be managed in the back end.

• FAQ extension

  This makes managing frequently asked questions a breeze.

• Newsletter extension

  This allows newsletters and various email recipient lists to be managed in the back end.

• Comments

  This offers visitors the possibility to leave comments on your website.

• Listing

  This adds a list of database records to the website that can be sorted, filtered and searched in the frontend.
